Aaron's Handyman Services
A custom WordPress theme for a family-owned construction business in Hot Springs, replacing a Wix site with programmatic service-area pages and zero SEO plugins.

Overview
Aaron's Handyman Services is a family-owned construction and repair business serving Hot Springs and the surrounding Garland County communities. Every decision on the site came down to one of two goals. A homeowner who had never heard of the business should read the site as credible at a glance. A Google search for any reasonable combination of service and town should surface one of its pages near the top.
The implementation is a custom classic WordPress theme written from scratch, no page builders. A single configuration file defines the six service lines the business offers (deck work, fencing, exterior repair and paint, minor hardscaping, house maintenance, pressure washing) and the seven cities the business covers (Hot Springs, Bryant, Benton, Royal, Bonnerdale, Mountain Pine, Arkadelphia). From that one file, the theme generates forty-two unique landing pages, each with its own title, meta description, structured data, and body copy that actually says something about the town rather than stamping its name onto a template.
The theme uses no SEO plugins. Sitemap, llms.txt, JSON-LD schema, and OpenGraph tags are all emitted directly from theme code, which keeps the site fast, easy to reason about, and cheap to maintain on a shared DigitalOcean droplet. Transactional email routes through Fluent SMTP against the Brevo HTTPS API, because DigitalOcean blocks outbound port 587 and a contact form going missing would be a silent failure no one else would think to debug.
